Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and bar bending is an advantage 
Measure, cut, bend, and shape steel bars using manual or power tools 
Tie and fix reinforcement bars and steel meshes accurately 
Install rebar for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and walls 
Secure steel reinforcement using wire, clips, or welding when required 
Check alignment, spacing, and placement according to specifications 
Work with concrete teams before and during concrete pouring 
Follow safety rules and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) 
Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and safe
