Staff Component Engineer All Job Posting Locations: Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico
Purpose Complete projects with suppliers to provide uninterrupted flow of components for assembly operations that comply with instrument requisites, quality, price, and delivery.
Responsibilities - Produce component cost comparisons and analyze alternative manufacturing methods for Cost Improvement Projects (CIP's).
- Determine requirements of tools and spare parts to maintain the supply of components.
- Complete technical projects with suppliers to improve supplier processes, maintenance capability, instrument assembly, and instrument output performance.
- Provide technical support for approbation/validation of changes and supplier process improvements.
- Provide technical support for resolution of component quality issues.
- Coordinate RMI/CAD/BOM activities.
