Position Summary

Performs a variety of engineering work including such areas as product design, manufacturing processing, test, calibration, development, and efficiency. Title may specify specialty.

Responsibilities

• As required by the business, works with various equipment and disciplines to increase production, quality, efficiency, volume and/or environmental suitability.
• Gathers & coordinates basic engineering data using established and appropriate or defined engineering principles and procedures.
• Functions with limited supervision and has some latitude for unreviewed technical action and budget reallocation decision for assigned projects.
• Applies area of specialty to design, develop and implement creative and innovative solutions to difficult problems.
• Schedules work and assigns subordinate engineers to accomplish projects within plan and budget.
