The Senior Engineer, Operational and Workplace Safety ensures full compliance with GlobalFoundries’ EHSS policies and local safety regulations. The role partners closely with site and global EHSS teams, fab operations, and stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into practical, operational safety solutions. It focuses on risk control evaluations, contractor safety management, committee leadership support, and championing safety programs to protect people, sustain fab operations, and uphold the site’s license to operate in a fast‑paced semiconductor environment.

• Establish, implement and verify safe work practices for high‑risk work activities such as work at heights, confined space entry, LOTO, hotwork etc.
