Responsibilities

:

Speech Language Pathologist will:

Perform observations/evaluations

Provide therapy, creating training material, attending meetings, collecting data, recording attendance, completing therapy notes, and providing interventions to other staff as needed

Conduct student evaluations for speech therapy in accordance with school procedures and timelines

Provide Speech therapy through individual, small group, in-class and community models as directed by students’ IEPs and 504 plans

Provide services to students based on IEP goals, objectives and time indicators

Maintain a daily log of services and hours worked as well as appropriate student files

Document services provided using district mandated system

Prepare Individual Education Programs (IEPs) and Individual Accommodation Plans (IAPs) for students and participate in IEP/504 meetings
