Speech Language Pathologist - $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Rome Health is rapidly expanding and we have a need to fill a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for our inpatient acute care, sub-acute rehab/long term care and outpatient therapy....optional weekend on call coverage for per diem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' levels of speech or language difficulty through communication and standardized tests.
• Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist patients in articulating sounds and improving voice quality.
• Work with patients to improve reading and writing skills.
• Develop and implement exercises to strengthen the muscles used in swallowing.
• Counsel patients and families on coping mechanisms for communication disorders.
