PUB has an in‑house team developing and operating the advanced National Coastal‑Inland Flood model. The model comprises a coastal and an inland model to carry out flood risk assessment. PUB is building up capability and capacity in model simulation work to better understand impacts due to evolving climate projections and to support emergency response. Thus, we are looking for passionate individuals to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will contribute across three key areas: coastal hydrodynamics modelling, where you will develop and refine models to simulate coastal flood behaviour, including the effects of storm surges, waves, and sea level rise on Singapore's coastline; inland flood modelling and forecasting, where you will work on simulating and predicting inland flood events driven by intense rainfall, supporting both long‑term planning and real‑time emergency response; and management of model data systems to support flood simulation, w...
