Job Description:
The Calibration Quality Specialist is responsible for the management of the total lifecycle of a broad variety of tooling and equipment used in the manufacturing, inspection, and test of highly complex electro-optical system. This position is a core component in ensuring that L3Harris delivers quality product to our customers, as well as ensuring compliance to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System standard.
Essential Functions:
Calibration of equipment in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 17025, and ANSI Z540.3 standards.Maintain records of instrument and equipment calibration, procedures for calibration and other pertinent data in accordance with company, ISO, and industry standard requirements.General oversight of ESD practices and mitigation methods.Track and manage department performance metrics.
