Job Summary

We are seeking a specialist occupational therapist (Band 6) to join Core Team West as a part‑time (30 hours, 0.8 wte) member. The role involves working with individuals with moderate to severe mental health needs in a community setting, supporting them to reach their potential and live well in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of service users, arranging care and liaison with other services.
• Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessment, risk assessment, review care plans and facilitate accurate record keeping.
• Provide evidence‑based clinical decisions and treatment options, and participate in the setting up and running of groups.
• Act as senior member of the multidisciplinary team, supporting junior colleagues and acting as clinical supervisor and appraiser for OT assistants.
• Support learning and development of students and serve as practice supervisor and assessor.
