Position: Sourcing Engineer – Johor, Malaysia (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Support and implement Rockwell’s overall strategic sourcing strategy.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, collaborating with regional and global commodity leads and cross‑functional stakeholders (Engineering, Operations, Business Units, Quality).
• Identify, qualify, and manage new suppliers, prioritizing Best‑Cost‑Country (BCC) sourcing.
• Serve as technical interface between suppliers and business units, addressing alternate sourcing, material/process development, and quality issue resolution.
• Lead supplier development programs, including lead time reduction and process improvement initiatives.
• Support Value‑Engineering and Value‑Analysis (VAVE) projects, engaging suppliers and engineering teams to realize cost and design improvements.
