**Minimum qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 8 years of experience in software development.
+ 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
+ Experience designing and developing relational databases, database internals, query processing and query optimization.

**Preferred qualifications:**

+ Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
+ 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
+ Experience with Apache Iceberg or Apache Spark.
+ Understanding of PostgreSQL architecture and database internals.
