An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Surgery Directorate at St Thomas’s Hospital for a 12-month secondment Band 7 Ward Manager to provide clinical leadership and management on George Perkins Ward.

We are looking for a dynamic, patient centred, enthusiastic and hardworking individual who has substantial surgical experience, ideally with experience in orthopaedic and trauma surgery to complement, support and lead the ward team.

George Perkins ward is part of the surgical department in Guy's and St. Thomas' that provides care for patients with a wide range of traumatic injuries, orthopaedic conditions and plastic surgery needs across four inpatient units within our two hospital sites. 

The secondment would offer the opportunity to develop your management skills with the support of Surgery’s senior leadership team.
