Are you driven to turn membrane science into deployable climate hardware on the decks of working ships? Do you believe advanced gas separation membranes can cut shipping's CO₂ emissions at a fraction of today's cost—not in papers, but in operating systems at sea?
We are building a membrane-based carbon capture platform for the maritime industry—a sector responsible for ~3% of global CO₂ emissions and now facing carbon taxes of ~US$200 per ton. Our patented membrane technology captures CO₂ at ~US$19/ton—roughly 80% cheaper than incumbent solvent systems—in a footprint ~90% smaller and with no toxic chemicals.
Our mission is to make onboard carbon capture so practical and affordable that decarbonizing a ship becomes a business decision, not a burden. We are now seeking a Research Fellow (Membrane) to join an industry-funded project anchored at NUS and drive membrane fabrication, testing, and scale-up toward pilot deployment.
