Shipper and Receiver

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

As a Food Center Shipper/Receiver, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding food safety standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Receive products from approved suppliers, inspecting shelf‑life, quality, quantity, and temperature
• Check truck conditions for cleanliness and temperature compliance
• Unload and organize materials in designated storage areas (frozen, dry goods, refrigerated)
• Follow allergen policy and inventory rotation procedures (FIFO)
• Prepare pallets for shipping and move trays using hand trucks or dollies
• Verify bills of lading and invoices for accuracy
• Operate high stackers and pallet jacks
• Maintain cleanliness and order in storage, picking, and packing areas
