Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Sheet Metal Welder.

The hourly rate for this position is $25.89 per hour.

**What you’ll do:**

**In this function you will:**

+ Perform arc or acetylene welding of various parts.
+ Make adjustments as setting current; selecting electrodes, torch tips, flux, etc., to suit metal thickness, depth of penetration or size of piece; adjust pressure gauges to obtain flame setting.
+ Select filler rods to suit metal using care in puddling, avoiding pin holes, oxidization, brittleness, burning or excessive heat.
+ Block and clamp to maintain alignment, usually down hand welding, but may perform vertical and overhead welding as required working on various metals.
