EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED FOR SEWING ROOM SEAMSTRESS: 


  • Knowledge of merchandise

  • Ability to operate various automated sewing machines

  • Lifting and stacking quilted panels, borders, etc.

  • Sewing borders, patterns, panels, etc. together using sewing machines and specialized equipment made for mattress production

  • Work a specific station on the assembly line sewing all portions of mattress manufacturing

  • Any other duties as requested by management.

    • EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS FOR SEWING ROOM SEAMSTRESS: Ability to lift merchandise of 50 lbs occasionally; ability to communicate effectively with team members; knowledge of employment and safety procedures; knowledge of merchandise handling procedures.
