A client of Insight Global is looking for a Field Technician to sit onsite in Glen Burnie, MD to support a variety of commercial security and access control installations. The candidate will be joining a team that supports multiple client sites across the region, with frequent travel and field-based assignments. The successful candidate will have experience installing and troubleshooting commercial IP cameras, access control panels (especially Mercury), and structured cabling systems. Daily responsibilities include terminating fiber and Cat5e wiring, programming VMS and access control software (e.g., Genetec, Galaxy), and performing remote diagnostics. While most work is completed independently, technicians may occasionally collaborate with teammates or leadership.
