Global Payments seeks a Service Desk Technician to join our evolving Global Service Desk Team, focusing on endpoint support, issue resolution, and infrastructure maintenance across a global environment.
Responsibilities
Endpoint Support: Install, maintain, and optimize servers and end‑user devices (desktops, laptops, MACs, MDM).
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime.
Standards & Optimization: Ensure compliance with policies and best practices while recommending effective software solutions.
Prepares desktops and laptops by imaging devices for deployment and testing proper operation.
Ensures Thin Client and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) devices interconnect seamlessly with file servers, mail servers, etc.
Sets up and configures appropriate hardware and software for new team members as a primary analyst.
