Role Overview As a Senior/Investigating Officer, Specialised Investigations, you will be part of a team to undertake a range of challenging enforcement activities to safeguard public health.
Responsibilities The Senior/Investigating Officer, Specialised Investigations will be part of the team to undertake a range of challenging enforcement activities including, but not limited to the following:
- Conduct field operations to arrest offenders abusing etomidate‑laced e‑vaporisers and seize exhibits in accordance with relevant legislative provisions
- Conduct meticulous investigations and surveillance operations for possible importing, peddling and trafficking offences involving etomidate‑laced vaporisers
- Administer the supervision regime for such abuse offenders, and engage members of the public, including families of the suspected etomidate abusers, to explain HSA’s policies and processes
