Brief Job Description (essential functions of the position):
Responsible for the installation, erection, and painting of signs, poles, traffic control devices, and appurtenances; paints and marks loading zones and other traffic lane lines on the street, pavement, and curbs, applies plastic stripping.
Responsibilities:
Operates lane marking machines; excavates and prepares the ground for the erection of signs, meters, and signal posts; straightens poles with appropriate tools. Maintains, installs, and removes pedestrian delineators. Assists with the placement of VMS boards. Operates hand, electric, and hydraulic-powered tools and compressors.
