Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Senior Support Worker works as part of a team and independently to support and improve the lives of people who are prison leavers and/or experiencing homelessness.
The Senior Support Worker takes responsibility for delegated tasks such as processing referrals from point of receipt to delivery of support by creating person‑centered, housing‑related support plans and allocating tasks to staff. The role includes acting as Deputy in the Service Manager's absence, completing reviews of support, recording evidence of outcomes for monitoring, ensuring all client files are up to date and ready for validation, and ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards, inspection, and regulation.
