Senior Software Engineer (Backend)

We are recruiting for Senior Software Engineers to join a major banking transformation programme focused on building and scaling a strategic entitlements platform. This platform sits within the broader authentication and authorisation landscape and is responsible for managing fine-grained permissions inside digital applications, determining exactly what users can see and do once they are logged in.

These are high-impact contract roles suited to genuinely senior engineers who can contribute quickly in a complex delivery environment. The platform is already live in a pilot production setting, so this is not a greenfield build. Instead, the successful contractors will help further productionise the solution, support additional use cases, improve scalability and strengthen the engineering foundations required to support large-scale customer demand.
