Job Description
MS NOW is looking for an experienced Senior Producer for the new weekend show airing 10AM – 1PM on Saturday and Sunday with host Jacob Soboroff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Producer in the supervision of the editorial vision of each day, including suggesting stories and guests for the show
- Fill in for the Executive Producer when needed
- Supervise and copy edit segment producers’ scripts
- Directly manage members of the show staff
- Coach and mentor team members on and outside the team
- Write and produce segments on occasion
- Manage the live show from the control room during regular programming and breaking news
- Drive the show planning process
- Lead production of content for digital platforms, social media & MS NOW’s DTC products
