We are seeking an experienced, motivated and inquiring Senior Policy Analyst to join our Housing Policy team at the Ministry of Social Development (MSD). You will provide policy advice to Ministers on housing‑related social assistance with a focus on the lower end of the housing market, support service‑delivery colleagues to improve housing outcomes and independence for our most vulnerable, and collaborate with government agencies and stakeholders such as the Ministry of Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport and Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities. The role includes both short‑term, tangible change and longer‑term strategic work, often within tight timeframes.
