About the role:
This position is a Fixed-Term, Full-time role from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2029.
The Senior Policy Adviser will contribute to and lead policy and legislative reform projects relating the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (NRAS) for 16 regulated health professions. The Victorian Department of Health is funded through the Health Chief Executive Forum (HCEF) to perform the NRAS national policy lead function on behalf of all jurisdictions in relation to reforms to the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law. The team also performs Secretariat functions for the Legislation Committee, which undertakes work on behalf of the Health Workforce Taskforce (HWT), HCEF and the Health Ministers Meeting (HMM).
