The Job:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Pig Stockperson to work alongside the Unit Manager within a modernising 600 sow straw based breeding to finishing unit. This is a varied and hands on role covering serving, dry sow management, farrowing house duties and general herd management, while supporting the wider team in driving performance and welfare standards across the unit.

Key responsibilities:
- Carry out daily health, welfare and condition checks across the herd
- Support serving, dry sow and farrowing operations within the breeding to finishing system
- Assist with piglet care including fostering, weighing, tagging, injections and general husbandry
- Administer treatments and vaccinations where trained and authorised
