As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Photon Control Inc., a subsidiary of MKS Inc., you play a key role in the design, development and delivery of cutting‑edge optical sensor solutions required for advanced semiconductor fabrication. You will work in the Advanced Development group and report to the Principal Optical Architect.

Your Impact

• Lead the mechanical design of advanced optical sensor technology platforms and test fixtures.
• Design, build, test and document mechanical designs and test results.
• Perform thermal and mechanical simulations for the development of new optical sensors and characterization equipment.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to correlate optical performance with physical and thermal characteristics, driving development of next‑generation temperature and position sensors.
• Conduct feasibility studies, RSS tolerance analysis and FEA for new products and test fixtures.
