Serve as the engineering leader through all stages of a project of any size and play a larger role in the marketing of the studio and management of the discipline. Lead and perform analysis, design and documentation of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and controls. Assist in establishing project goals, budgets and schedules, track project performance, and follow/enforce quality control procedures. Meet with clients, project teams, code officials, contractors and others to address mechanical discipline issues and to develop effective working relationships. Present engineering design solutions to client representatives and/or design review committees.
