About the Role
As a Senior Manager, Retail Compliance (SME), you will act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert (SME) providing independent second line oversight across the Australia Retail business.
You will play a critical role in:
Shaping and influencing compliance risk frameworks and outcomes for complex retail banking products (e.g. Everyday Banking, deposits, payments)Providing expert interpretation of regulatory obligations (e.g. ASIC, APRA, Privacy, Consumer Data Right, AML/CTF where relevant)Exercising robust, risk-based challenge of first line controls, decisions and risk assessmentsDriving proactive identification of emerging regulatory risks and systemic issues
