Respond to correspondence and provide efficient service to clients
Instruct on reserve provision, registration requirements and verify data entries for files setup
Review claim files including monitoring of recoveries, setting of reserves, clients and intermediaries management, assignment and management of solicitors, surveyors, adjusters, third-party administrators and other vendors as necessary
Provide a technical reference point for queries
Approve claims payment
Train and assist junior staff
Assist senior staff on large/complex claims handling
Undertake any other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications
Tertiary education
Minimum CGI qualification in general insurance. (Candidates without qualification will be given reasonable time to obtain the qualification)
