Responsible for all wedding, catering and group sales in the hotel, from booking events to their execution
Assist Director of Event to prepare departmental budget and forecasts, operating within set parameters, ensure effective cost control
To establish and maintain rapport with clients, prior to, throughout and post-conference, exceeding their expectations and encouraging repeat business.
Conduct site inspections and sales activities as required.
To work closely with the Director of Event to prepare monthly forecasts
To develop the annual business and marketing plan for the department
Achieves Wedding, Banquet and Catering budgeted set out in the yearly business plan for the hotel.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Event
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education of Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management or relevant discipline
