Job Description: Senior Estimator
Job Responsibilities
Prepare detailed estimates for various construction projects, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimations. Perform risk analysis and identify potential issues that could affect project delivery. Maintain and update cost databases and estimation models to improve accuracy and efficiency. Review and approve subcontractor and supplier quotes to determine the best value for the company. Present estimates to senior management and assist in bid presentations.
