Fred Smith Company is a leading heavy civil construction company in North Carolina and is currently searching for a Senior Estimator to be a part of our talented Eastern Division. The Senior Estimator will report to the VP of our Eastern Division. This position is responsible for delivering competitive cost estimates on new bids and reviewing the progress of existing bids to ensure their completion. The successful Sr. Estimator candidate will:

  • Have broad experience and a thorough understanding of heavy civil construction estimating
  • Will be a self-starter
  • Will be capable of developing major estimates with little supervision
  • Will be able to meet critical deadlines and lead/mentor others in a positive team environment
