We are currently looking for an Engineering candidate for the Electrical Design of custom machinery. This expert will possess the work knowledge and experience to complete electrical designs in a fast-paced environment following company standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs that meet the needs defined in the scope of work while working within a defined schedule and budget.
• Calculate electrical sizing of control devices including cables, fuses, brake resistors and transformers
• Proven knowledge of safety control design including safety relays, controllers, light curtains, safety scanners and zoning. Work closely with the team to develop Safety Risk assessments
• Strong knowledge of motion control systems with Servos and VFD’s
• Work directly with electrical inspectors to ensure that electrical designs meet the requirements to pass inspection (panels typically certified to CSA/UL & system certified to PSR) ...
