Role Overview

You are invited to join the Data Service Delivery unit as a Senior Data Analyst in the energy sector. The role leads large analytical projects, delivers modelling and evidence-based insights, and works closely with policy teams. Two full‑time permanent positions are available in Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of robust analytical programmes and modelling work to inform key policy decisions.
• Analyse potential futures of energy supply, demand and greenhouse‑gas emissions and produce evidence for policy design.
• Produce and monitor analysis of policy options and track performance against mandates.
• Work with mandatary stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions for Ministers.
