Description

UCLA Health's Santa Monica Hospital is seeking to hire a full-time Senior Custodian to join the Department of Nutrition. You will be responsible for various tasks in cleaning, housekeeping, and custodian duties for our hospital. Primary duties include:

+ Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors
+ Washing walls, doors, windows, light fixtures and vents
+ Discarding trash/waste bins
+ Cleaning, sanitizing, and re-lining all trash containers and linen hampers
+ Washing and steaming rubber floor mats
+ Replenishing beverage station
+ Cleaning and proper storage of housekeeping equipment
+ Other duties as assigned

Specific work shifts include: AM Shift 5:30AM-2:00PM or PM Shift 2P-10:30PM.

Effective 06/22/2025, employees
represented by the AFSCME Union will receive a minimum wage of $25.
