The role of the Job Holder is to take key decisions as well as to underwrite individual applications of the Company applying for Retail Banking Product i.e Business Loan & Mortgage Loan as defined in the Retail Credit Policy of the Bank.
The job holder works as a checker, which means that he/she has delegation to approve high value transactions and also reviews deviations (out of policy cases) and restructuring cases to be proposed to the delegated authority.
Job Accountabilities
Ensure quality underwriting of Credit Applications as per Approved credit policies and within the given Delegation of Authority with minimum error rate.
Maintain high level of productivity with no compromise in the quality of processing.
Analyse credit data and company financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending the credit facility.
