Our Operator client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Cost Engineer, for a period of 4 months August – December 2026, based in central Aberdeen.
 
This is to cover an interim period in the team and would suit someone who is available immediately and open to short term/fill in roles.
 
The successful candidate would be required to work in the Aberdeen office and have experience of oil & gas cost engineering.
 
Responsibilities:

Responsible for setting up a Master Control Estimate and managing the re-baselining process through current control estimates.
Working closely with the SAP Admin team ensures PO allocation to the correct WBS.
For either projects or portfolio, captures commitments, actuals and forecasting based on reviews of schedules, completing cost reports and performing cost control through analysis of variances and use of Earned Value Management.
