Responsibilities

• Processing new marine claims in accordance with Claims Best Practice/SOP, and Letter of Authority:
  • Issue acknowledgement to insured/intermediaries/marketers
  • Appoint marine surveyors/adjusters as needed
  • Ensure prompt and accurate claim registration within 5 working days
  • Ensure claims file creation in Workview
  • Reserves created in PolisyAsia & Meridian
  • File all correspondence and documents
  • Follow up for initial reports from marine surveyor/adjuster/expert
  • Manage CABFAC/CABCO recoveries for outward placements
  • Ensure timely issuance of PLAs, RLAs, and SLAs to all following insurers and treaty reinsurers
• Monitoring the progress of claims:
  • Follow up with marine surveyors/adjusters/experts for claim status and reserve updates
  • Follow up for preliminary, status, final reports
