Provide in-depth ceramics tutoring and guidance for all ceramics classes, inclusive of special technique classes;
Ability to design lesson outlines for ceramic classes;
Ability to set up, clean, and demonstrate the use of pottery equipment and instruments safely and effectively, inclusive of kiln loading and unloading, and firing of ceramic pieces;
Design and produce AIA ceramic products for retail and commercial purposes;
Plan exhibitions and events which includes artist workshops;
Oversee and manage studio inventory, approving or facilitating purchases as needed;
Monitor and ensure a clean and safe working environment, with regular upkeep of work area, equipment, supplies, and materials;
Any other assigned ad-hoc duties.
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates with a minimum 2-years experience with ceramics teaching or equivalent;
