About the Role
Balfour Beatty Rail are recruiting for a Senior CAD Technician who will work out of our London, Derby or Redhill offices and also remotely as part of a hybrid model. The Senior CAD Technician will support the design engineers in the preparation of Civil and Rail engineering models and drawings.
Responsibilities
- Understand and comply with project and function specific standards, practices, and tasks.
- Assist in estimating timescales for specific tasks.
- Assist in the production of technical literature, enquiry documentation, and reports.
- Assist in the training of junior staff and direct contract/agency personnel and technicians with their duties.
- Act safely and work to eliminate hazards at source.
- Assist in compliance with drawing codes of practice and standards.
- Ensure compliance with Network Rail and TfL drawing standards.
