**Jefferson Wells has a long-term project for Senior Accountant**
**Location:** Onsite (5 days/week required) Salisbury NC
**Rate** 55 hr W2
**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Lead and support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
+ Perform financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting related to distribution and supply chain operations
+ Support accounting functions across multiple national distribution centers
+ Oversee and provide guidance to two analysts (one U.S.-based, one offshore in India)
+ Partner with supply chain and operations teams to analyze costs and ensure accurate financial reporting
+ Assist with distribution costing and inventory-related accounting (limited inventory complexity)
+ Follow and execute established SOPs; identify opportunities for process improvement
+ Support system transitions and onboarding (Oracle ERP, SmartView, Google Cloud SQL)
