Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file tax returns (income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory taxes)
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulatory requirements (e.g BIR rules deadlines
- Maintain accurate tax records, schedules, and supporting documents
- Compute tax provisions, accruals and deferred taxes
- Assist in tax audits, assessments, and examinations
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and tax authorities
- Reconcile tax- related accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor updates in tax laws and assess their impact on the company
- Support tax planning initiatives to improve tax efficiency
- Prepare tax reports and summaries for management
