Join Axpo in Oslo and play a key role in managing period-end closings, reconciliations, and technical accounting for our Nordic entities (Norway, Sweden, Finland). As Senior Accountant, you will support statutory and group reporting, ensure compliance with local regulations, and contribute to process improvements.
**What you will do**:
- Manage period-end closing, reconciliations, and technical accounting for NO/SE/FI, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and validate statutory reports, VAT filings, and group reporting packages (IFRS), supporting both local and group requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations, and support audit processes.
- Act as deputy to the Accounting Manager, providing additional capacity and support during peak periods.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies, to facilitate smooth operations.
