Prospero Teaching are looking for experienced and nurturing tutors to work with young people who have Special Education Needs and Social, Emotional and Mental Health conditions. These students are currently on a wait list for a specialist placement, you will be acting as their alternative education provision during this time, working with each student for up to 15 hours per week. You will be expected to tailor your approach, ensuring you meet their needs in Section F of their EHCP and accommodating their specific behaviours and conditions.
It is essential that applicants are experienced and confident in reading and implementing recommendations from an EHCP.
An example of one of these young people – 15 years old, located in West Newcastle. The young person has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD and a variety of associated neurodiverse & mental health conditions. The individual will be needing...
