We have an exciting opportunity at our Openshaw campus to join our Supported Learning Department as a SEND Support Practitioner on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week), term-time only (over 39 weeks) basis.
We are seeking a SEND Support Practitioner to join our Neurodiversity Team at our Openshaw Campus. Collaborative working with Exam Access Arrangement Assessors (EAAs), and wider support services, is a key element of the role.
Key responsibilities include providing 1:1 and small group support to students outside the classroom in study hubs and independent learning spaces, developing effective study strategies, organisation skills and confidence. You will contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
You will require a good standard of English, both written and verbal, and critically an understanding of Dyslexia and its impact on learning.
