As an NHS security officer, you will provide a wide range of duties which will require a customer focused approach. You will provide a timely response to support patients, visitors, members of the public, and hospital staff across a broad range of issues.
You may be involved daily in high level impact and intense situations, requiring the regular use of conflict management and physical intervention, resulting in this being a physical and mentally demanding role.
To support you in carrying out these duties each officer will be expected to successfully attend the Physical Intervention Training qualification course.
