Proactively measure and manage ocean freight capacity globally working with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and various sector representatives.
Be an escalation point of contact for sectors working with port authorities, and carriers to resolve issues connected to balancing costs, service, and compliance.
Coordinate to optimize general business processes.
Guarantee operational continuity for all sectors by implementing the right international logistic strategy for ocean freight shipments.
Deliver cost reductions and savings by optimizing ocean freight trade routes, international logistic routes, transportation types, custom borders, carriers, and brokers, as well as reducing detention, demurrages, delays, and storages.
