To provide essential support to the Nutrition and Food Science teachers in the preparation of ingredients, maintenance of kitchen laboratories, and ensuring a safe, hygienic environment for secondary school students to conduct practical lessons.
Job Scope - Lesson Preparation: Prepping food trays for student practical (i.e. washing, portioning ingredients and organizing ingredients/kitchen equipment etc.) based on the weekly curriculum.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Ensuring all NFS culinary laboratories, preparation room, refrigerators, and pantry are kept clean, organized, and compliant with NEA hygiene standards.
- Equipment Care: Regular checking of ovens, stoves and other kitchen appliances (ie. microwave ovens, steamer ovens, blenders, electric cake mixers, electric steamers etc.) are in working order and reporting faults.
