SBH requires flexible, efficient teamwork on the part of the provider and other clinical staff.
The provider and nurse work together to perform all the needed duties for clinic maintenance and patient care in School Based Clinics. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Obtain and maintain records of parental consent, insurance information, and patient history for students and staff of SBH.
Coordinate with school secretaries and health department nurses to appropriately screen and triage potential patients for SBH.
Maintain safe and well-equipped clinical areas at all SBH sites.
Duties include, but are not limited to inventory, ordering, and stocking medications and supplies, reporting malfunctioning equipment or facilities, and appropriate security/storage of supplies.
Have knowledge of and oversee compliance with OSHA and on-site licensure requirements for SBH.
